IVR (Interactive Voice Response)
enables network operators and service providers
to automate various services and data requests by
enabling the interaction with their subscribers.
IVR delivers retrieved information from either local
or remote databases to callers as voice prompts.
It also stores the relevant transaction information
from the callers.
Navigation through the IVR menu can be performed
either by touch-tones or by recognition of the predetermined
words with the integration of voice recognition
technology (ASR). Oksijen IVR’s scenario flow can
be easily created or modified by using a visual
scenario builder tool. VMS (Voice Mail System) utilizes
"voice mailbox” to answer the call and record messages
from the caller when the number is forwarded to
VMS service number on some conditions.
