LES is a multi-channel location based services platform with enhanced service creation utilities. It allows GSM operators and service providers to create and provide personalized location based services depending on their current position over multiple channels.

Location Enabling Server provides service creation by using simple steps through a Graphical User Interface (GUI). The services created by the GUI can be further modified and enhanced by adding and/or modifying scripts or Java programs that are generated automatically by the platform.

Since services are developed independent of the service delivery channels, these services can be requested and delivered over various channels like SMS, MMS, WAP, WEB, voice (IVR) and e-mail.

Cross channel services are also supported. With its XML interface, many applications can make use of the versatilities of Location Enabler Server.

Oksijen LES can be also powered by a map engine and digital map to provide tracking and tracing functionality.
