More Short Messages in African Continent with Oksijen SMSC...

Spacetel Guinea Bissau and Lonestar Liberia have chosen Oksijen SMSC, a high-speed SMSC solution with a comprehensive set of features as well as one-to-one short messaging.

Oksijen has been the supplier of SMSC, multi channel mobile VAS and bulk messaging platforms for two other Investcom Holding operators, Spacefon-Ghana since 2002 and for Spacetel-Benin since 2003. With the new contracts, the partnership has been extended to cover two more group operators Spacetel Guinea Bissau and Lonestar.

Established in 1996, Spacetel Guinea Bissau SA is licensed to operate a GSM 900 network in Guinea Bissau. On the other hand, Lonestar Communications Corp. is licensed to install, operate and maintain a GSM 900 network in Liberia, which began operation in April 2001.

Oksijen provides new generation telecommunication solutions for network operators and service providers. With its strong background and expertise in telecommunication industry, it has deployed a number of innovative products such as IN prepaid systems, SMS and MMS messaging solutions and VAS platforms for a number of GSM operators in Eurasia and Africa.
