Oksijen sets up an easy bridge into mobile
video services…
Oksijen has just implemented mobile
video services for Telsim, one of the prominent
network operators in the region. Oksijen’s
long-time available mobile multi-media service platform
EasyBridge and multi-media messaging service center
EasyMessenger, coupled with RealNetworks’
Helix Mobile Server turns video streaming into video
messaging and new generation value added services
that are available now.
The integrated product will allow multi-channel
(i.e. accessible over sms, mms, ivr, wap or web)
and cross-channel (i.e. utilizes many of these technologies
all at the same time) value added services to support
video, forming a great product for wireless operators
and service providers around the globe.
Reha Civanlar, former head of Visual Communications
Research in AT&T Labs and one of the global
pioneers of streaming video, said “the combination
of the state of-the art technologies has finally
turned a long time dream of wireless video into
reality.” Dr. Civanlar is currently a visiting
Prof. in Koc University and the technical architect
of video applications for Oksijen.
