Private Numbering Plan (PNP)
describes the dialing plan of the VPN community.
PNP
allows VPN users to make calls by dialing short
numbers instead of long MSISDN
numbers. Every VPN group has its own PNP, thus same
short number can be used
for another subscriber in another VPN group. |
 |
Forced On-net Features:
VPN member can call another member in the
VPN group by
dialing its public directory number instead of short
number and still benefit from the
group call features. |
|
|
Virtual On-net Calls: Corporate
customer may assign short numbers to frequently
called numbers |
|
|
Billing: Business Calls
are charged to the company number. Each company
can set the
rules for business calls based on time of call (office
hours, week days etc.), call type
(calls to a group member, calls to outside the group)
and access type (speech, fax, data).
Calls that do not fit into these categories are
charged to calling party. |
 |
Split
charging: Calls may be charged
to calling number and business number by a
configurable proportion. |
 |
CLI
Modification: Caller's short
number is displaye d on the called member’s
handset
for group calls. |
 |
Call
Restrictions: Ability to
classify the goup members and define separate charging
rules or call restrictions within classes. |
 |
Prepaid

members can consist of postpaid and prepaid subscribers.
Calls prepaid to be charged to the calling party
